TTIP is a reference current transformer (accuracy class 0.05) designed to perform on-site or in-lab electrical measurements in AC circuits rated up to (and including) 0.66 kV, 50 Hz. TTIP can be applied as part of a test system for verification or calibration of instrument current transformers rated up to 5000 A having an accuracy class 0.2S or less accurate.
Reference current and voltage transformers extend the measurement range of conventional instruments measuring electrical parameters by scaling measured current and voltage signals down to a level suitable for such instruments (and for protective relay systems as well).
