Purpose

The Energomonitor-3.1KM reference meter is intended for accuracy testing, calibration and verification of reference standard meters, working standard meters and other instruments for electrical energy measurements, including:
  • Measurement and logging (including waveform capturing) of critical electrical parameters in single-/ and three-phase networks, including RMS voltage and current for both sinusoidal and distorted waveforms, as well as active, reactive, and apparent power
  • on-site performance, accuracy and calibration tests of single / and three-phase electric energy meters (active or reactive energy); control of correct meter wiring (without breaking into the circuits)
  • On-site performance, accuracy and calibration tests of current and voltage instrument transformers (as a comparator)
  • Inspection of secondary circuits of instrument transformers (load power measurements), e.g. within automatic metering and billing systems
  • Amplitude and peak AC voltage measurements (up to 500 Hz) across one/three channels and one differential channel; accuracy testing and calibration of peak voltmeters
